Cheeto, Running the Lure Course

Cheeto arrived in rescue in September 2008. Most of our long-time foster homes are all but immune to the charms of their foster dogs, but Cheeto laid it on thick. His foster mom, Kim, was smitten. She loved his slobbery jowls and his goofy personality.  When we informed her that Cheeto had pooped in the middle of the radar run at one of our rescue events, a look of "That's my boy!" pride crossed her face. 

When an applicant inquired about Cheeto, Kim broke into a cold sweat and realized she could not let him go.  She needed a fifth Boxer like she needed a hole in the head, but . . . Cheeto had done his job and was home for good.

If you adopted a dog from GABR, be sure to send us a photo so that we can feature your Boxer on our home page!
