TYSON THE BRAVE

Tyson, lovin' life in his new home

Sure, we've seen our share of deaf dogs over the years, but Tyson was our first blind dog.  We wondered, would anyone take a chance on a blind dog?  It took some time, but someone did.  And this handsome brindle boy is doing great!

A little update from his family: Adopting Tyson has been an amazing experience for our family. If I had to describe Tyson in two words it would be heroically brave. But he deserves more than two words! So now I am going to brag....Tyson always tackles challenges with gusto and joy! His impish spirit and curiosity makes us smile and fills our house with fun and laughter. There's something about his boisterous and exuberant personality that will have you leave the room shaking your head and grinning from ear to ear. Did I mention his ability to do the wiggle butt? I'm quite sure other Boxer dogs would be envious of this. Boy can the "Big Guy" wiggle and shake that butt. I always say Tyson feels he's on this mission to be our guardian. Always alert and on constant guard. Nothing gets past him. At the end of the day when he climbs up on my lap and looks at me with his furrowed forehead and dark soulful eyes and with his smooshy face lays that big slobbery kiss on me I realize how much he loves me and of course I know how much I love him and at that moment I say..... "Oh Big Guy, I love you too" just to be sure he knows it! Our family is blessed to have Tyson, and we feel so honored to have him be apart of our family!
