Hi! My name is Piper. I have had a pretty rough life. I went from a puppy mill to 3 other stops and finally to my current foster home. My foster dad calls me his little peanut. I’ve been bounced around quite a bit so it takes me a little while to trust people. I am gentle with the people in my life.  I have not been exposed to children in my foster home. Because I am a bit timid and startle easily I don’t think I would jive well with small children. Fast movements and loud noises make me nervous. I require a fenced in yard.  I am super sweet. I love being close to my human. My all time favorite activity is snuggling with my foster dad in his big comfy chair. I haven’t had the most loving beginning to my life but certainly have lots of love and cuddles to offer. I like to sleep in my foster human’s bed but will sleep in my bed on the floor. I am fantastic in my crate! I am good with my foster dad’s male Boxer and other dogs too. I would do best in a home with a fairly laid back dog that will allow me to play on my terms. I really, really love toys. I can be found with a smile on my face and looking for the next best squeaky toy! I do have a dry eye that needs drops twice a day but it doesn’t slow me down. I have a minor heart murmur that we've been keeping an eye on.  At the end of the day I am just a big sweetheart. I just want to unpack my suitcase for the last time at my forever home.
