Hello boxer lovers!  My name is Barrit and I was surrendered due to a divorce and they unfortunately couldn't keep me.  I am a very sweet boy who is looking for my forever home.  I am 9 years old.  We just found out I have a heart arrhythmia - I now take Sotalol and Mexiletine twice a day to control this.  I'm also on a half of a pill of Prednisone a day due to itchy skin. The cost of the meds are approximately $70 a month at Walmart.  I get a peanut butter every day with my meds!  I would be fine by myself or in a home with other dogs.  I'm great with with kids 8 or older.  I love my frisbee - it's my favorite toy!!  Did I tell you i'm a counter surfer?  It's a skill!  Not everyone can do it and I think I'm pretty sneaky, but my foster mom is on to me!! I love to hang out outside by the fire or where you are.  I sleep on my own bed next to my foster parents.  I walk well on leash.  I can back out of my collar so I have to be harnessed when walking.  It's another trick I can do!  My foster mom crates me during the day but think I could gradually gain free rein or be baby gated off.  If you are looking for a great furry friend, I'm the guy for you.  I'm a little shy at first but will melt your heart in so many ways!!! Did I tell you I work for treats and take them very nicely.  I'm still spunky even for a senior!  Do you think I am perfect for your home?  If so - inquiry about me!
